This course covers proper sighting for close distances, fighting stance, efficient reloading, use of cover, and transitioning to pistol.
You will need:
- your rifle
- 3 magazines
- a sling
- 200 rounds of ammunition
For the pistol you will need:
- a strong side holster
- 50 rounds of ammunition
A proper holster for these classes should be of rigid construction, so that when the pistol is removed from the holster, the holster doesn't collapse. The holster should hold the pistol securely, to include covering the trigger guard. To learn more on holsters prior to class, please see an Openrange Instructor, and/or attend our Art of Concealment class.
Student's wishing to attend the Close Quarters Rifle class should attend Openrange's Basic AR-Shooting Skills - Range class first, or have similar training or experience.
